Warranty

We encourage customers to proceed with installation immediately upon receiving their purchase or within the first week. This ensures full utilization of the warranty period, which begins the moment the item is delivered. Any claims submitted after the warranty window cannot be honored. The buyer assumes full responsibility if any issues are not reported within the designated timeframe.

Items and Conditions Covered by the Limited Warranty

  • All internal engine components including pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft, main bearings, connecting rods, rod bearings, camshaft, camshaft bearings, timing chain, and timing gears.
  • Intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, valve seals, valve guides, push rods, rocker arms, and rocker shafts.
  • The engine block, cylinder walls, and cylinder head are warranted to be free from cracks or distortion.

Head gaskets are covered for 30 days only.

Miami Engine Imports (JDM ENGINES IMPORT) reserves the right to repair using rebuilt or serviceable used parts, or to exchange the engine at its sole discretion. Any repair or replacement performed under this warranty does not extend the original warranty duration.

Items Not Covered

External engine components are not included under the warranty. These include:

  • Intake and exhaust manifolds
  • Distributor, starter, emission devices
  • Flywheel, clutch, pressure plate
  • All wear-and-tear components such as timing belts, water pumps, belts, seals, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and similar parts

Engines sold complete with accessories may not meet state-specific emission control requirements. State and Federal laws require transferring emission components from the original engine to the replacement engine. Add-on parts included with engines from Miami Engine Imports (JDM ENGINES IMPORT) are provided free of charge for testing convenience only. Pricing reflects the cost of the long block only (i.e., Cylinder Head & Short Block).

Transmission warranties apply to internal components only. External parts and sensors are excluded from coverage.

The Limited Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Labor costs for removal, installation, or transportation
  • Towing charges or freight delivery fees
  • Damage resulting from insufficient or missing engine oil
  • Overheating, abuse, neglect, accidents, or natural disasters
  • Loss due to improper installation
  • Incidental or consequential damages such as loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or commercial losses

MIAMI ENGINE IMPORTS DBA (JDM ENGINES IMPORT) is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from engine or transmission use.
